SPECIAL THANKS to the awesome members of the Horace Orr American Legion Post 29 in Marietta, GA for hosting a great dinner and awards presentation for the members, sponsors and charity partners of the 5th Annual Veterans Memorial 5K that was held on May 25, 2019. An absolutely wonderful turn-out to a packed crowd!
Charity partners included the Service Organization of Post 29, the Shepherd’s Men SHARE Initiative, and the GA National Guard Family Support Foundation. Incredibly, donations in the amount of $35,000.00 were presented to EACH organization!
How many ways can we say how much we appreciate American Legion Post 29!? This is the 5th year that the Foundation has been designated as a charity partner for this awesome event. The friendships, the support and $115,500.00 in donations to help the Soldiers and Airmen of the GA National Guard faced with financial hardships mean SO MUCH!
