Special Thanks to Team Chinook and Patrick Serfass at Boeing! Boeing’s annual Program Management Review Conference at Hunter Army Airfield was held last week. The GA National Guard was able to assist with their Readiness Hall for meetings and provided static displays and tours to Chinook suppliers and International Customers. As in years past, they went above and beyond and showed the true spirit and character of the National Guard.
Each year a raffle is held at the opening reception of the conference and the proceeds are donated to charity. Last year and again this year, the GA National Guard Family Support Foundation, Inc. has been designated as the recipient of their generosity!
Today, we had a special visit from Hank Rexing, Fleet Manager, Cargo Helicopters and a photo opportunity to present the generous donation to COL Dwayne Wilson, a Foundation Board Member.
The Georgia National Guard Foundation is a self-funded non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization proving financial assistance on an emergency relief basis to Soldiers and Airmen for basic needs. We are honored to receive this generous contribution and ongoing support from Team Chinook!
