The Marietta Business Association and the Georgia Veterans Association partnered to host the
2nd Annual Military Appreciation COOK-OUT on 18 May 2017, at the Clay National Guard Center
A great turn-out of Georgia National Guard members and civilians were able to enjoy a bounty of hot dogs, hamburgers and all the trimmings at cook-out today! Healing Our Heroes, represented by Melissa Herbert Thiel, served as the Corporate MBA Partner and provided the food for the fun event!
Dave Young presented $1,000 in Kroger Gift Cards to Harriet Morgan, Program Manager for the Georgia National Guard Foundation, which will be distributed by the Foundation and the Military Family Support Branch of the Georgia National Guard to soldiers and airmen in need.
COL Randall Simmons thanked everyone for attending and the “wheels are turning” about the possibilities of future opportunities to work with the Marietta Business Association and their patriotic members!
