From near and far, THANK YOU to all who supported the 2020 AoKM5K!
The 9th Annual Assault on Kennesaw Mountain 5k had to forego the Mountain this year with a Memorial 5K Shadow Run. Race Coordinator Extraordinaire, Meara Brown, did an outstanding job motivating military members, friends and family with up-to-the-minute support for this “Run Where You Are” event! The first runner that checked in was living in Germany! Over 400 others followed and shared their enthusiasm on social media and email blasts!
43 Days were established from 19 September to 31 October 2020 to Honor the 43 Fallen Soldiers of the Georgia Army National Guard. We will Never Forget.
$8,000.00 was donated to the Georgia National Guard Foundation from the 2020 event with a cumulative total of $30,979.00 since 2012! Huge thank you to all! Plans are underway for 2021 with date to be determined!
