Subject: GANGFSF REMINDER-2023 Georgia Tax FORM 500! TAX CHECK-OFF CHARITY! 15 APRIL 2024! Importance: High

THANK YOU TO EVERY TAXPAYER IN GEORGIA who “picked an amount and made it count” for the Georgia National Guard Foundation when they filed their 2022 State of Georgia Income Taxes!

Since 2005, a simple “check-off” box on Georgia Income Tax Form 500 allows individual taxpayers to make donations that will be automatically deducted from their refund or included in their payment to the Georgia Department of Revenue.   $83,245.41 was collected from 2022 Returns! Over $1,341,826.41 since 2005!  The Foundation is one of TEN CHARITIES approved for this special interest designation!

Individual and corporate donations and the impact and success of our fundraising events make a difference in the lives of many Soldiers and Airmen of the Georgia National Guard facing unexpected financial hardships. As a result, the Foundation has been able to approve more than $3.5 million dollars in emergency relief assistance to nearly 4,000 members of the Georgia National Guard and their families.

PLEASE share this information with family and friends as a reminder to “pick an amount and make it count” for the GA National Guard Foundation when filing their State of Georgia Form 500/500EZ Tax Returns for 2023! We appreciate your support!
