GA COUNCIL OF COURT ADMINISTRATORS

From website posting by Yolanda Lewis, President: “For nearly 20 years, the Georgia Council of Court Administrators (GCCA) has spearheaded the charge to improve the operation of the courts in Georgia through the education, training and development of court professionals statewide. From the beginning of our organization until now, GCCA has prepared hundreds of leaders to assist jurists in meeting the ever-changing dynamics of our courts with an eye toward improving the administration of justice.”

In September 2016, the GCCA held their Fall Conference at Jekyll Island Inn. Each year they raise funds to donate to a deserving non-profit. This year, Patty Baker and her husband, SFC (Ret) Scott McElroy, suggested the GA National Guard Foundation for consideration. Patty is Clerk of the Courts in Cherokee County, GA and she and Scott organize the annual Half-Marathon, Ruck and 5K in Canton to raise funds for our organization. (Save the date for 20 May 2017!).

We are honored to report that the Foundation was selected as the charity partner for the GCCA Conference and $900.00 has been donated by the members of the GA Council! Thank you to all who participated in this event. The interest and financial support to our organization is greatly appreciated!
