The Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) Golf Tournament- Scramble Format was held on April 27, 2016, Stone Mountain Golf Club – 0800 tournament and 1315 tournament!

Several suppliers donated tee times which afforded us the option to reduce the cost for Soldiers and Airmen to play from $110 to $75 per golfer.

Each player received a gift bag, green fees, cart, driving range access, lunch (great BBQ from “The Nest in Kennesaw”) and either breakfast or evening appetizer. Raffle tickets and mulligans were sold. Each flight had a raffle with giveaways of over $5,000 in golf equipment and prizes. Hole in one contests on the par 3’s as well as longest drive, closest to the pin, and accurate drive contests.

Proceeds to benefit the GA National Guard Family Support Foundation and the AAAA Greater Atlanta Chapter Scholarship fund.

On October 6, 2016, members of the 78ATC donated a very generous contribution in the amount of $13,000.00 to the GA National Guard Foundation! Pictured here is COL Vern Atkinson, COL Dwayne Wilson and CW5 Pete Demkow presenting “check” to BG Tom Carden and Harriet Morgan for the Foundation!
