On Monday, August 12, 2024, the Indian Hills Country Club in Marietta, GA hosted the 12th Annual Indian Hills Country Club Military Charity Golf Classic celebrating America’s Military & Veterans benefitting Vacations for Vets Foundation (IHOOT) and the Georgia National Guard Family Support Foundation, Inc.   

Proceeds from this 12th Annual Charity Golf Classic benefits members of our United States Military, Veterans, and support organizations including the Vacations for Veterans Foundation, Georgia National Guard Family Support Foundation, Inc. 

The tournament was open only to IHCC members, key sponsors and their guests, invited wounded veterans, and senior active-duty military guests.  One hundred-twenty (120) members, Wounded Veterans, sponsors, and members competed as four person teams.
               
The event began on Sunday, August 11, 2024 with a casual reception at the Indian Hills Country Club honoring our Wounded Veterans, in the past hosted by AFA Dobbins Chapter 331.  Tournament play began on Monday 10:00am.  

The Foundation's Guard Golfers this year included Col Roger Brooks, Col Kevin Yokley, Mr. Jason Goza and Mrs. Thomas Meeks.  A good time was had by all!

In Honor of Our Troops (IHOOT) Vacations for Veterans - $7,000
Georgia Air National Guard Family Support Foundation, Inc. - $7,000
 
In twelve (12) years, the Air & Space Forces Association Dobbins Chapter 331/Indian Hills Country Club Charity Tournament has donated over $120,000 to local military, veterans, families, and AFJROTC Cadet STEM Programs.
