Lockheed Martin Donates $10,000.00 to the Foundation!

On behalf of the Georgia National Guard Foundation, Inc., we want to Thank You for the recent contribution in the amount of $10,000.00 for our Campaign 2024!

Lockheed Martin has been steadfast with its support to the Soldiers and Airmen of the Georgia Nation Guard since 2005 with donations that exceed $115,000.00.

The Emergency Relief Committee of the Georgia National Guard Foundation approved $145,000.00 in financial assistance in calendar year 2023. More than $3.5 million to nearly 4,000 military members anc their families. Issues continue to include job losses/gains, tornado and hurricane victims, house and apartment fires, travel and funeral expenses, medical hardships, vehicle expenses subject to repossessions or repairs, rent, mortgage, utilities and more.

As a self-funded non-profit 501(c) (3) charitable corporation governed by a voluntary Board of Directors, the Foundation is ONE OF TEN "check-off" charities identified by the Georgia Department of Revenue in 2005 with a special interest designation that gives every taxpayer in Georgia the opportunity to "pick an amount and make it count" for the Georgia National Guard when filing their State Income Tax Form 500.

In addition to individual and corporate donations and fundraising events, this is usually the largest single donation we receive each year.
